Excluding evolution theory leaves you with nothing.
There is really no other reason then to have a convenient way to exchange genetic material.
Leaving that out ends the discussion.

Well, if you do not want rational thought like evolution in the explanation, let's see. . .maybe there are two kinda sorta distinct sexes in a few species because the great Gods of Ying and Yang while eating ambrosia in Nirvana during a ride on an evil turtle's back muttered in an alien tongue known only to people from the missing tenth planet, "Let's puff some viral spores from up our holy noses into the heavenly winds and watch them sprout from the belly of Gaia into man with a penis and woman with a most blessed pounding headache". : )

Male represents the unmanifest and Female the manifest; Male for consciousness and Female for energy, not only in the cosmos as a whole but in each and every individual. The experience of perfect unity of the changeless and the changeable, the dissolution of duality, is the aim of Yoga kind of practices.

Can you observe the things in this world? Most of the things are in pair. If there were only one sex, there would be fight between similar sex. Male and Female have emotional bond that binds them to keep in harmony. The opposite sex cares for each other. This attachment and love helps to continue the existence of the species.

Without the evolution based one you're only really left with mythological explanations.

There is no philosophical reason for it really, it's all to do with biological development. The resulting social structure is not the reason for it but the result of it.

In some techniques this is the alternative, sexual lust is the thank you to chop up your self from the sacred. A union of marriage and love this is permitted to develop this is a factor of a relationship this is God based yet would not reason loss of administration is extra consistent with persevering with on a non secular direction.

God created man...man doesnt make babies...so God created a woman(and also women tend to be superior at other things as well, just because we men don't care to be).

Many other reasons from the Bible on why woman was created, read it and you can understand(I didn't say "will" understand, some people just don't want to, I said "can" understand)

well.........for procreation. There needs to be the sperm giver and the egg giver who does the incubation.

without Male & females there would not be future generations.

we have the hunter & provider and we have the nuturer.

And male and females are definatly wired differently

Could be nature's ploy to make sure living beings collaborate rather than be aloof like inanimate objects.

Cuz when God made Eve from Adam, He didn't use a rib - He used a womb! (it is translated "rib", but it really is "womb" in Genesis). Since that time, we've been trying to get it back together.
