Recently i posted a question about having someone constantly putting thumbs down on my answers and it seems that Mermaid keeps getting the same. Its only fair that i start a campaign for her as she helped me out (with others)! So whoever it is... leave her alone and be nice!!!

Thank you so much for this kind gesture. How thoughtful. I think it is really unnecessary to give ANYONE lots of thumbs down unless they are really offensive or completely off the mark and not answering the question at all. There are thumbs down bandits on here, who are clearly dishing them out very freely.
We all have differences in opinion and I think people should respect that.
The other day, I got loads of thumbs down for my comment about a joke (?). Luckily, the questioner saw the 'funny' side of that and gave me best answer. Revenge! Ha!
Anyway, I hope people have stopped giving so many to you.
Edit - I'm glad you're getting lots of stars for this. You deserve it. We must remember that there are lots of nice people out there aswell!

I don't see the point in giving thumbs down, whatever your answer is.
I have had the same problem, if people give me the thumbs down i wonder why, i've read worse answers than mine and they get thumbs up.
