of course we deserve the cup,we have been on top of world cricket for a long time and the world cup champions for the past 8 years,we work hard at playing good hard cricket and are probably the most consistent side in the world.
i can understand all you other countries wanting us too lose id feel the same if it was one of you guy's,but you can't say we don't deserve it , in fact we probably deserve it more because we are consistent,N.Z had one good tournament against a less than full strength Aussie side and have carried on with a bit of form and S.A and S.L have gone along up and down.
we haven't lost a world cup match since 1999 which is 24 wins,18 wins straight and a draw in between,so we definitely deserve it-DOESN'T MEAN WE'LL WIN BUT WE'LL GO CLOSE!!

Any team from the following can beat them N Zealand Sri lanka and S Africa.
Though S Africans lost to Aussies, Its not a convincing win by any means SA had there chances just didnt capitalised on them.
After todays match we can c where Sri Lankans stand. They has the best bowling attack of the tournament.
As for the N Zealanders they beat them 3-0 thts more than enough to c their capabilities.....

One bowler who is going to retire next week is unplayable and is the top wicket taker.
Another one who came in because Lee is not there is a terror no batsman want to face (Bracken).
One fellow called Symmo who was doubtful a couple of days ago took a catch in Bangladesh match which will make Jonty rodes proud.
We are yet to see how Pup was called a finisher when others are not even allowing him to bat.
Guys, Team Ozzie's is not Gilly,Punter and Heyden.
Ask Steeve.He says Baggy green is very hard to win and who won it don't what to loose it.

I fully agree with you that Australia can be beaten. As far as the world cup performance of Australia is concerned, one matches in the world cup in a row without a defeat. If such a team win the world cup, I will say they fully deserve it.
