why should tendulkar quit?? just because lara has done so... u gotta b kidding me dude.... sachin is the best ODI player in the world... with the indian team in a crisis like this.. we need to make use of his experience... indiian team wouldnt have come to such great heights if it wasnt for him... moreover hes been doin gud lately.... just failure in 3-4 matches doesnt mean he has to quit...
why are every1 trying to pull him down... dravid and ganguly are older than him... y is there no cry over their retirement... all u ppl were waiting for an instance wen sachin would fail... so that u can start criticising him ryt... well.. he'll bounce back and show u all how wrong u were...

NO!! Listen here, Sachin is only 33, Lara is 37. Sachin has been in superb form since he came back from his injury. He had a fantastic 100 off just 76 balls against the Windies a few months ago. He backed that up with some great knocks too. In the world cup he failed in 2/3 matches. I tink one cannot judge him from that performance. His contribution in world cups has been awesome and no one can ever match that. i think he should continue playing till next world cup and then retire.

No not al all, Sachin shold go on making new records. He still has a long tenure left. He is just 35. He can still play the next World Cup and by performing well in the later years prove the odds against him wrong. He has the capacity to do any thing, hew just lacks his form right now.

Yes. Although it is always not correct to start a sentence with 'no' but this is really true for 'Indian muster blaster'(!!!), i.e, he should not continue his career as a cricketer. After the historic loss in World cup 2007 the highest scorrer in test match, Brian Lara decided to put an end to his cricket career. I strongly agree with his decission. Now he thinks that it is the time to provide the oppurtuinity to the young generation.
Sachin should follow the logic.

Sachin should quit one day ( probably he would after bangaldesh as he is good against small teams...sometimes)

He can still play in longer version of the game.

However he should quit before BCCI and Fan force him to Quit!

he is getting old he should leave the international cricket. he has never won a single match for India, he plays for himself not for his team.

he always trys to maintain his own records and does not care for the team, he should be sacked from the team if he does not retire, I do not consider him as a great player.
