Oh I have BIG time proof of this one!!
DUCKS are FAR more intelligent!!!!
For example: 1 of my hens insists on laying her eggs on the
floor of the goat house ----can you say stupid, trampled chicken!
1 of my ducks made a beautiful nest and laid her eggs in the garden bed under the dryer output.----can you say smart,warm duck!
End of story!
Ducks=smart
Chickens=not so much

A duck can do everything that a hen can do.Plus a duck can swim ( chickens can not) So I'd say the duck is smarter

They should get along fine. When I was little, (quite a while ago!) we had a ranch and we had chickens, ducks and geese. They all lived peacefully together. Your duck will be happier if you get her another duck companion though. They are a flock animal.

I would say a duck. Hens, in general, are not very smart-neither are chickens.
The smartest bird in the world is supposedly the raven (Quothe the raven, "Nevermore.")

Hen or ducks dont have brain to think...human beings are those who can think..
and they both have to be trained for doing a work...so it depends upon the trainer how does he train them......
so....IT CAN BE ANYONE A HEN OR A DUCK depending upon the trainer
