Of course! Well at first i would but once i learn how to really control it i wouldnt. I would just think that if someone could read my mind i wouldnt want them to abuse it.

One of my favorite short novels deals with this idea. "Dying Inside" by Robert Silverberg is the story of a mind reader, who has always had the power- and is losing it with the onset of middle age. If you're actually interested in this topic, 9987, I'd suggest you find a copy of Silverberg's well written, enjoyable book.
