It was absolutely hilarious in many parts of the movie, but in others it was somewhat too filthy and that isn't quite the word I was trying to come up with. I'm trying to say it had some parts that were too extra naughty and kind of on the edge of almost what used to be X rated and I think the movie could have still been hilarious without Borat and his partner rolling around naked on the bed, for example. I don't mind some off color jokes and parts of movies and I do go to R rated but I don't like seeing nudity rolling around in front of me. That was a real turn off for me and I didn't find that part funny at all. But back to the rest of the movie, it was innovative, and funnier that all get-out. I laughed almost throughout the entire thing. THESE ARE MY OWN OPINIONS, ONLY. I AM NOT TRYING TO PERSUADE ANYBODY ELSE'S OPINION IN ANYWAY!

I like the nude wrestling/fighting scene in Borat's hotel room the best. It was by no way disgusting.... or inappropriate.

Imagine the artistic integrity an actor must have for agreeing to stick his face in such a hairy crack!

I haven't seen the movie, nor do I want to. I've seen enough of him on late night talk shows to know I'm not interested in watching a whole movie of him.

I agree. I heard so many great reports of it, even some of my christian friends liked it. I waited until it was a cheap movie to go and see it @ the movie theaters. I wish now that I waited until it comes to TV [which I hope that doesn't happen!!!!!]

The media sponsoship kills Don Imus' career (not that it wasn't inevitable) for the same thing that the Borat character is propped up for.

Explain this to me?

I just saw it yesterday, I don't think it was the most disgusting but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Jackass 2 is the most disgusting IMO.

We watched about ten minutes of it before we had enough and gave up. We're still wondering why everyone else thought it was entertaining. I've watched some crass stuff before and I'm usually pretty open-minded and willing to give even vulgar comedy a chance to entertain me. But I just found this one gross, lame, and actually kind of boring.
