I'm only still in touch with two childhood friends. One was a good friend...and one was my best friend for 5 years. The sad thing is...we only stay in touch over the internet anymore. One through Myspace and the other through e-mail. It's sad because it will never be the way it once was. I miss how it used to be. If you are still friends with your childhood friend then you should hold on to them as much as you can. Those are the best kind.

Yes, it depends on what part of growing up you're talking about. One of my grade school friends I'm friends with still. Pretty much just one. As for high school, several. Probably at least 5 I'm still in good contact with as for as being good friends goes. But I'm still in ok contact with more than that, and occasionally see some of them.

Yes. I have 9 close friends during elementary school and 9 close friends during high school. We went to different schools during our college years, but we still managed to keep the friendship alive. We were like sisters. Despite the differences in schedules, we find time to regularly spend a day out...watch a movie or get together in one's house. Some of them are married and with kids now, but we still see each other. Some are living overseas, and we are still friends and have constant communication with each other. They are like my extended family. We've been together through tears and cheers. I wouldn't the kind of friendship that we share to anything in this world.

Yes!! Oh my gosh a bunch!! We all get together at the lake once a year. there are about 50 from my class plus their spouses, and partners, and their kids for one day then all significant others have to leave and take the kids so we can all sit up and talk about "remember when??" It's great. I missed being able to go one year because of my disabilities and they showed up at my house at 2:30 in the morning and carried me to the car. Since then they come get me and all my machines and away we go...

well im turning 21 soon and ive had one friend whom ive known since i was 6 years old so we've been friends for nearly 15 years and counting! we'd like to stay friends for the rest our lives and hopefully we can make that happen. many of my friends from elementary school are lost to me now... most of them i parted ways with after high school. i still have a few friends from middle school though and they're the ones i consider my best friends for life.
