Do I have a leagle right to bring charges on a past employer that more less slander me to a possible employer and out right lied about what happen at a past job. What can I do? The person that said this acted as a manager when she told the other job this, when she is only a supervisior.

If someone at your former company is claiming credentials and giving bad reference, first contact your former company's H. R. department and let them know so that they can take appropriate action. Secondly, do not use this individual as a reference, only use the name of the H.R. Director. Third, if you want to pursue a claim, contact a lawyer that offers free consultation, and see if they find you have sufficient evidence and cause to pursue a legal case.
