While there isn't a clear definition that excludes football players, the term baller is generally used for basketball players.

As a Mountaineer fan during the Chris Henry days, I can tell you while he may not qualify as a baller, he's a good ball player in need of some discipline.

Henry got everything he deserved from the comissioner of the NFL.
