I think those are two separate things. No, money can't buy happiness, but money can make life easier & less stressful. But if money or lack there of, breaks up your marriage, then it wasn't solid to begin with. My vows said 'for better or worse, for richer for poorer.' If you have a shitty marriage and tons of money...the money won't keep you together. Some of the nastiest divorces are among the rich.
