Al Sharpton is like those people you see on television that claim to speak to the dead. He says things that the present audience wants to hear. He knows that "hip hop" is garbage, but if he starts to protest and make a publicity stunt out of stopping it, he will lose his supporters in the black community. So he tells the media what they want to hear, then he tells the rappers and promoters that he was only grandstanding and not to worry. Since all of this started about 1 1/2 weeks ago, I have seen no record labels come out and fire any of the producers or rappers. I have seen none of them come out and take a stand against any of it. I have also seen no protests or calls for boycotts against the record labels or rappers. I have seen Sharpton and the other hypocrite Jackson stand outside CBS with signs and cameras, lord don't forget the cameras, and demand CBS fire Imus. It is really a joke. The record labels and "artists" will keep their mouth shut and continue to make vulgar, racist "music" all the while knowing that Sharpton and the black community will let the issue die and white people in America are too afraid to do something about it.

al sharpton is a asshole and a hypocrit, but so are you for bringing pac into this, if you gonna try diss somebody and smash them read up and get some facts.
Because you obviously did not find any bob will teach you little bit bout pac and T.H.U.G L.I.F.E.
Al for once said something that was no idiotic and hypocritical, 2pac was warm, sensetive and intelligent. 2pac was one of the only rappers to ever make songs that directly addressed women, not as sex objects or even objects of romance, 2pac's song keep ya head up addressed women like they were just another homie, he did not suggest anything sexual in that song, he encouraged men to start treating women more equally and fairly as well as telling women when life is hard and you "fall, stand tall come back for more and keep ya head up" He also made many positivie songs that were full of nothing but love, Changes, Dear Mama, Life Goes On and more. Pac was never afraid to show what he felt, some times he was angry and said stupid stuff, but he was never afraid to be real and even in the height of the bad boy death row beef pac was STILL real.
Another common misperception of tupac was his thug life, thug life stood for
The Hate U Give Lil Infants F'ucks Everyone and his philosophy behind it was that together by uniting and putting aside racial tensions and hate we could change communitys and eventually the world to be a better place. 2pac's definition of a thug behind thug life was not the one from the dictionary and not someone who beats up people and commits crimes, his defentiion of a thug was "someone who came from the gutter and against all odds are still here today, even when everyone else said they arnt nothin, when peopel told them they couldnt acomplish anything and just being the underdog that no one belives in, but proving them wrong." Pac felt no one udnerstood thug life and didnt give a chance, because he felt america is the defention of thug life, they said america could not win the war, the british were much more powerful and no one believed in the colonies, yet in the end america won.
2pac had a lot of philosophy's and poetic themes and ideas bob cannot all list here, bob would highly suggest you watch the documentry "Tupac Ressurection" it is a excellent documentry that captures 2pac's life, it does not just focous on the parts of tupacs life that they wanted to like you did, they did not just see the positive and good times in his life they focoused on his life in general and seen the BIG picture, because to judge something fairly and not be biased you have to see the big picture and not just the little parts you want to see. We can bring out hte positive and negative in anybody, but that aint worth **** unless you put them together and look at them fairly, part of being right is admitting you can also be wrong.
2pac was a good man and like people said before "why do you think people in the hood and the ghetto are embracing thug life and tupac more then anyone else? because 2pac spoke to them more then any teacher, politican, preacher or anyonelse for that matter ever did."

not all hip hop is detrimental sexist or violent.
Tupac did leave the ganster life style, some people glorify it, i don't think tupac really did. Like boyz n the hood was somewhat promoting the image but it also had a moral at the end and said that this leads to misery. Some people just don't see the whole picture they are just hypnotized by the more shocking aspects.

I can't begin to talk about Sharpton--he does more harm than good.
But, please, be kind to the memory of Tupac! He was a sensitive and intelligent poet who got mixed up in something that took control of his life--and took his life! Much of what he wrote was not violent, but violence is what sells. I blame a lot of "rapper violence" on the record labels. I've known a number of rappers in my city who tried to do clean, non-violent, non-misogynistic poetry who could not get picked up by labels because what they did "would not sell".

human beings immediately are so ignorant and wrapped up in what music human beings like and decide, basically according to that. you will desire to no longer be according to what you pay attention to, a lot of human beings have preconceptions of what Heavy metallic music is approximately and notice it as dark and dying music.i might never evaluate anybody a racist, my suitable pal is one hundred% in love with Heavy metallic and there is not any way she is racist in the direction of me or any others. human beings would desire to be respectful of what you like and what you do in contrast to and could give up wanting others to conform to unrealisticc features. anybody is larger being distinctive. MQ: don't have one, no longer my type of music. BQ: no longer necessarilyy, basically when you consider which you don'tnt like Rap and Hip Hop does no longer propose you need to in contrast to 3 different genres or songs from different genres. some human beings would say your close-minded in basically listening to that type of music and not giving something of project. as an occasion i do in contrast to Heavy metallic, bu do no longer hate it yet i'll now and back like a undeniable type of music becausese of the lyrics. To concluded my awnser your no longer closed minded to particular degree no longer continually will human beings share the comparable music tastes and that i think of its good you do individually I'am satisfied tha i don't have friends that pay attention to the comparable genres as you will nicely be taught new issues from their musical tastes.
