HCl+HNO3 are both strong aqueous acids, they will both perform acid/base reactions with water

HCl + HNO3 + 2H2O <==> Cl(-) + NO3(-) + 2H3O(+)

HCl + H2O <==> H3O(+) + Cl(-)
HNO3 + H2O <==> H3O(+) + NO3(-)

they wont react with each other when there is a stronger base (H2O) present.
