So far I've been using the Always overnight pad which is really thin but pretty long but I'm still having trouble. It's getting to the point where I'm waking up in the middle of the night to go change it and it's hurting the way I live during the day.

Grab a hold of any super heavy/ good nights/ maternity pads for those nights when only a towel on the bed can help the overflows! Especially the longer pads and pads with wings helped me heaps, but if in doubt, double up. I know being a woman isnt all fun, but this is a sure fire way to help you, as it helped me.

I had a friend who had very heavy periods and she said she used the pads made for urinary incontinence. Also, she used a plastic mattress pad, with a thick cotton one over that, then finally a thick, white towel over the sheet.
Did you know that blood comes out easily with cold water? I also discovered that Biz enzyme bleach (and it alone) will also get it out.
