My job... I teach. It's a challenge every day... a rise to meet my expectations, a challenge to challenge my students... figure out how they learn, and help them build on that. I love the creativity involved, the number of roles and hats I get in wear in any given day (actress, counselor, musician, guide, explorer, learner, doer... the list goes on).
My hometown... my view of it is an echo of my life... busy... complex and simple all at once. My friends are my teachers and my solace, my inspiration and my guides. They are good folk. I love the fact that I have a revolving door... though I do miss privacy at times. It is a great thought to know that you are welcomed.
I'm away from home for the next 3.5 months. *Sigh* I do miss it... but I am enjoying the change in perspective.

I am retired, free to pursue my interests.
Most of my friends are also retired.
I have excellent health. 3 minutes and I'm on the beach. I can walk and hike for hours without tiring.
I love my life.
