I know some about computers but not enough. I already had two 512 cards in my computer and I just put two 1GB cards in. I just want to make sure that my computer updated itself, but for the life of me I don't remeber where to look to make sure it did. I also moved the older cards to the secondary slots before installing the new ones too. If any more info is needed just ask I'll put it up here.

go to start>run and type in dxdiag and select yes. You have all your info about most of your hard-ware, graphic, sound, memory, processor, *RAM* and how much more it can handle. DirectX versions, etc

Are you sure your PC can handle two 1GB cards?

To check usage, open the Task Manager with Control+Alt+Del and carefully review all tabs. It will show CPU usage and amount of memory available.
