Would a ticket which combined a Republican with a Democrat appeal to the American public more than a one-party ticket?

Or is the position of vice president so useless that it means nothing?

Right now, looking to 2008, would the people go for a ticket of Giuliani-Obama, or Obama-Giuliani?

Gore-Liberman was close enough.

It was one of the main reasons I didn't vote for them.

Originally the President and VP were the winner and runner up of the election so it ended up being split.

In 1796 A Federalist and Democratic-Republican were President and Vice President.

Split ticket in 2008 ?
Are you sure there is going to be an election in 2008 ?
Are you sure voters will have a say in 2008 ?
How can you have a split ticket when both sides of the aisle are in the same pocket ?

What the country needs now is honesty so that your children will have a fair chance to get educated and learn to think for themselves.

The fact that George W. Bush is still president has said something about how dishonest this government has become.
The fact that George W. Bush is supporting Attorney General Gonzales evasiveness and dishonesty showing contempt for the respected members of Congress in his interview is just a sign of how arrogant the real power people have told him to be.
You may not even be able to vote by 2008.

I woudl be interested in a split ticket. It woudl be nice to be able to elect not only the President, but the Vice President as well. I know, right now they are both elected by electing their party's ticket, but it would be nice to elect them each individually.

Perhaps Obama-McCain. There is too much evidence that Giuliani is a closet thug. The last thing we need is more cover-ups. However, to quote LBJ, "I'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in."
Giuliani needs to be watched constantly, like Cheney.
