hey!..it's funny...i dont exactly relate to the 9/11...but everyday i seem to look at the clock at 7/11...i've always wondered if i was just crazy....but you make me feel better about myself...i guess we r confused together!

I'm sure everytime you look at the clock it isn't 9:11 (Unless you only have access to a clock when its 9:11!). This happens to alot of people, they can associate a particular thing, person or event to another independent event. For example, "I was thinking about my aunt and a second later she called!" Such events are taken to be more than mere coincidence in the minds of some. Taking the previous example, there must have been a hundred times when the person thought about her aunt and she didn't call, she just disregarded them. Whereas when her aunt did call, she acknowledged her previous thought and assumed she must be psychic.
In your case, it could be assumed that the time 9:11 has a significant and emotional meaning for you (As for many others). Other people can relate to other times and some even to patterns (For me, its 11:55). When you see other times appearing on the clock, they can be taken to be not special to you and not processed in your short term memory for very long.
Another explanation could be that you have an idiosyncratic routined life and that everyday you do the same things at specific times, although I assume you're not a robot, so I will go with the former.

I always look at the clock when it says 1234 or 420, and i don't party anymore, you've preconditioned yourself and are in sync with an internal clock .

I look at the clock when it says 10:04 and think of my sons, two of whom are likely to call me and say, "Hey, Mom, it's comb jelly time!"
Ha, ha. Comb jellies are ctenophores. Ha, ha. I guarantee we are the only family in our little town who thinks that's funny.
Geeky and proud of it.
And I admitted that I had a Sudoku habit when I looked at my clock in the early, early morning when it was 4:35. My sleep-dazed thought was, "Dang, that's going to be a hard one."

It happens to me all the time!! Like when I'm driving my car or I'm doing h/w and I look at the clock. And when I'm in school!...but that one doesn't count because that's what time our period ends.

I always seem to look when it's 9:12, which is my exes birthday so it really sucks because it reminds me of him & he was a loser.
