Why don't you just love them for who they are, not what you want them to be

this is a shot in the dark, but you could just ask your child, however, if thats not an option for you, then try to get clues, or even talk to their friends or their moms....however, no matter what the result is, even if you dont like it, you should still love them, and im not sure if you are ok with your child being gay, but if you are not then do not make your child feel that way because that will only push them away. I really hope this helps....:)

You can pretty much tell if a person is gay or not, espesially your own child.
Does he act girlish?
Here are some points:
Does he adore fashion?
* not everyone who is gay will like fashion
Does he talk differently than most boys?
* they talk in a high-toned voices
Does he have more girl-friends or boy-friends?
* usually, if he has more girl-friends, then they are gay
There are many more, but those are just off the top of my head. It's really okay if your boy is gay. He's only a child. If you do not like it, there's nothing you can really do, until he comes out of the closet, only if he really is gay, though. You cannot control whome one may like. :) It's nature.

I knew a kid named Darryl in elementary school and he would jump rope with us, anything the girls did he did. He taught me how to jump double dutch. There you go... and today he is gay.

1. You find a Cher CD in his room
2. He swings his hips when he walks
3. Has killer style
4. Has a lisp
5. Say "Oooohh honey child!" or "Uhh Uhh..Oh no you di'n"

the same way you know if someone else is i guess, 'cept the fact that you may be in denial if it's your own child, unless they tell you

my son is gay....I didnt know until he was 16....he told me...I never even thought he was gay...(he TRIED to like girls)...but it just didnt work

If he/she has relationships and sex with people of the same gender may tip you off.
