Sweetheart, there are many people that will try and tell you not to care forget about it, it's just a war etc! DON'T LISTEN! At 12 you are smart enough to read the facts and form an opinion! Learn as much as you can, read as much as you can. NEVER trust the NEWS MEDIA and follow your heart then when you are 18 VOTE! You may not realize it but there are a lot of adults that have a hard time with 911. LEARN ABOUT IT! http://stj911.com/
What you might think happened and what really happened are probably not the same! NEVER let anyone make up your mind for you! Trust your heart NOT people and you'll be just fine!

Sure, it's nice you care. But guess what. 9.11 happend on September 11, 2001. By November 16, 2001 we had control of Afghanistan's capitol. Iraq is just taking longer, and you have to realize that this is a war, so yes people will die. This is like a mini World War III. And the best way to move on is to try not to think about 9.11 constanty.

Dude, do not stop caring. When you stop careing about human life or sacrifice you become less human. There are grown ups who stopped caring and think the rest of the world should just shut up and go away.
I know it's tough to be so young and try to understand what's going on (I'm 22 and confused out of my mind when I try to think about it) Your an incredibly smart person to think about things like that at such a young age.
Ok, here's something you can do if you want to make a difference in whats going on; Go to the website www.uso.org (if you don't trust me ask a teacher at school, USO is the United Service Organization) they have a list of things you can do to help out the soldiers, the most common thing is to write letters to a soldier, they love it when a person will take the time to say "hi we're thinking of you". Ask your teachers if there is anything your class or school can do as a group.

Yes, you should care. There are so many people from the USA and other countries like the UK that have been killed in Iraq. Iraq is like a living hell from what I have seen on the news. President Bush is afraid of what might happen to the US or Iraq if he took all the soldiers out of Iraq. They are even thinking about drafting (making every young man enter their name if need be).

You should always care. Good for you for trying to learn what is going on in the world and staying informed. Maybe if there were more 12 year olds who cared about things that actually matter this country would have a brighter future.

Those people are immature, and have no right to judge you! You are smart to take an interest in what happens around you, and not just on a superficial level. While they whittle away hours talking about Disney stuff, you can make a wonderful impression on the world with your mature views! Good for you! Might I suggest getting involved with your local government? Maybe attend, or volunteer at council meetings?

Yes you should still care, I think. 911 is not something only adults should be concerned with since it involves the security of everyone. As for a lot of good happening in Iraq, the bad far outweigh the good.

Well, so like being 12 makes you a person who shouldn't care about what happens to the country you are living in. Like maybe your friends need to get in like touch with reality, like this is going to like effect your age group really hard, when the debt has to be like paid back to China, Japan, or whoever is fronting the like funds for the United States is dishing out for this war. Time flys by fast, you like better be prepared, and spead the word, cause it's going to be a big like wake-up call to your friends.

I read "im only 12" and I go "Awww". It's important that you always care but do not let it engulf you because you can be an important person to many people one day. Do things in your community to show you care. I'm glad to see this question, it give me hope in the youth.

"Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community. "
Anthony J. D'Angelo, The College Blue Book
Never quit caring, and never quit looking at the positives in life. I feel better about the future, knowing there are kids like you around!
