The Harry Potter series is great as well as The Shopaholic Series and The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants Series. All of them are light reads, i wouldn't expect to learn any real life lessons from them. I always enjoyed reading them over the summer when I was a bit younger.

I am addicted to V.C andrews books... They are really good .Alot of people tell me that they read them when they were teenagers but I just started reading them a few years ago..A girl at my work got me hooked on them. There are now 3 of us at work that read them.. There are tons of them... Different series and such.. They are for girls. .I don't think boys would enjoy them. I am 29 and I really get into reading them.
