The old country music my elderly father listens to. I like rock, classic rock and alternative music. The weird thing about music is that I have to be in the mood for background music, like right now, I have the radio on softly. Sometimes it distracts me when I am on the computer.

A cello... notes beginning on a low hum, deep resonate sounds, low strings. Bowing is long and smooth... the notes progress upward, the melody becomes light, fingers dancing on the high strings, shorter bows, staccato notes of re-discovery.

sax - sort of a Kenny G slow, light jazz sound. I also think a good sound for nostaligia is the sound of a steam engine's whistle fading as it heads off into the night.

Nostalgia---hmmm,,,,let's see.....................

That's a tough one,,,
but I would almost have to say the first thing that came
to mind-bells(not big ding-dong bells) or chimes........

Anytime I get that ol' familiar feeling, or scent that take me
back,,,,,I would have to say a "bell " of sorts goes off in my head to say "hey,,,,,I remember this..........."
