When money was tight years ago....I would take my two children out twice a month, when I got paid.
We would go to this diner...and I would tell them to order,
anything and everything they wanted. If was such fun!!
To this day, my son is 50 and my daughter 49....they still talk about it and the special song each played with the quarters.
They remember their special song. Memories....
They do the same with their children now.
We eat out maybe once or twice a week.....
and once a month to different places that have live music....
It's just fun to go out and eat, and enjoy.
No cooking...no mess..I love it!!

Considering how much I work, I'm not usually in the mood to cook by the time I get home, so we usually go out to eat for dinner about 5 times a week, usually rather cheaply though, if possible.

Life gets busy and sometimes it hard NOT to eat out for dinner. And the cost of food these days, sometimes it's cheaper in time and money just to eat out. I eat out at least 4-5 times a week.

as often as possible, everytime I get out of the house if I have time. I don't have the patience to cook much nowdays. I like babyback ribs from Logan's. I like snowcrablegs from the chinese restuarant. and boiled crawfish from the seafood place. I would prefer to pay someone else to do the cooking and cleaning...: D

Far too often! We have a fridge at home that's full and so much of it goes to waste! If your hungry you'll always be welcomed at my home,because no one will leave my place hungry!

Rarely.
I get take out about once a week.
I go to a restaurant / bistro etc less than once a month.
If I could afford it, I would go out at least twice as much as I do now.

Everyday, after work, i have my own activities to do; brisk walking, reading newspapers & books, visit library, bookstores, supermarket, online... everyday i treasure my time afterwork...
i understand the importance of home-cooked food; less-oily/salt.. ,more healthy.. but cant b helped....
