i have an lgvx8300. i want to put songs from my computer onto my phone. do i need to buy the music essentials kit or can i just use my micro sd card? i tried putting songs onto the card but some of the songs will not play. why?

You don't need to buy the kit, a Micro-SD card should do it. Are the songs your trying to play in MP3 format. They have to be MP3.

yes you need the essentials kit...it has the cable you need that goes from the puter to the phone. once you get the songs onto the phone you can decide if you want to put them on the micro sd or leave them on the phones memory.

I *think* you need the music essentials kit. I have it (same phone), but I haven't tried using it yet. I have a feeling it only plays a certain type of MP3s with specific encoding or something. A little more experimentation is needed.

Right now I'm having too much fun with ringtones and wallpapers using tonethis.com :) Sure beats paying Verizon for ringtones.
