Any idea how many civilians our forces have killed in Iraq? Is this justified? If so, how?

Every day people are killed by American forces who were not threats; they were just percieved as such by nervous, trigger happy soldiers.

1st Plank...I read your link and what a surprise...not one story had a source quotes,a newspaper reference or even the name of a single "victiom".Only a 1st name , or no name or an age...15...mentioned. No proof was provided in the article. It could have just as easily been made up...papers have done that before.....remember?

You see, I am a former Army officer and spent 18 months in Iraq...and saw innocent Iraqi's blown apart by car bombs and videos of my people being blow apart by car bomb too. And some of these videos are so gruesome that they are still classified and I keep them in a password protected file.

And a Muslim friend I made while on Camp Victory was murdered when he left-the post with his wife to home. He covered his wife with his body and he was riddled with AK-47 fire. The US military paid his wife $5000 and bought her business...asmall shop. And he had to go into hiding.

So don't you insult every soldier as trigger happy. I survived 7 IED attacks on my convoys, 35 mortar attacks and 2 missile attacks...one landing 87 feet from me...I measured it. I am alive only because there were 2 metal connex containers between me and the missile. And the scary thing...the people firing AK-47s at the convoy trucks.....all looked under the age of 15. You tell me sitting in the safety of you living room with your X-Box....would you shot or hope they don'tt shoot tou first?
