Yellowcard :the first Yellowcard album (which tends to feature the most Violin) is pretty good dirty three:They are a trio (who knew?) of violin, guitar, and drums. The violin could be considered the "voice" of the group, and his playing is absolutely yearning in its expressiveness. In my opinion their best album is "Whatever You Love You Are" so try that one first. Led Zeppelin-Kashmir Eleanor Rigby-The Beatles Baba O Riley-The Who Hurricane-Bob Dylan Also the bands King Crimson, Kansas, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Corrs use violins.

I don't know if your looking for a specific song, or just a song to listen to. Well, a modern band with a whole string section is Final Fantasy. It is a band, not related with the game series, who's only member is Owen Pallet, who worked with The Arcade Fire. He plays all the strings, guitar, and drums. Final Fantasy has 2 albums out, Has A Good Home and He Poos Clouds, I suggest you get them!
