There is no one "best" brand. The eye doctor will work with you to get the best fit for you.
The vision with clear lenses is better than that with colored lenses, because the color infringes on the edges of your vision to some extent.
Soft lenses almost never fall out once they are on. Most wearers are unaware of their lenses.
Good luck.

I have been wearing contacts for almost 30 years now...the soft contacts are very comfortable( in the past I had to wear hard contact, they were not as comfortable) They hardly ever fall out, but that has happened to me, they don't bother me unless I get something in my eye, my eyes have never gotten sore from wearing them...if they do, something is very wrong...One thing you might have trouble with at first is putting them in...I think it took me something like 15 mins to get mine in when I first got contacts...also make sure you keep a pair of glasses around...nice to have an option to contacts. There are many brands of contacts, your doctor will suggest what he/she feels would be best for your eyes.

Im using Bosch & Laumb's softlens which is monthly disposable.Disposable lens is a better choice as it will keep your eyes fresh as possible and no irritations. You need to be very careful cleaning and handling the lens as it has to be kept in clean solution everyday.Color lens or non-colored dont show any difference while you see.Lens do not fall off as such, but it will when you rub your eyes.Im very comfortable using my contacts and cannot be without them anymore.

I got contacts when I was 15, they only fall out when you rub your eyes too hard (very rare). They felt weird at first, but now I don't notice. My favorite brand is Focus Night and Day because you can sleep in them, but they are also the most expensive.

I wear acuview disposable and they are very comfortable. I have worn colored contacts before, and there is no difference in how I see. They don't fall out, but they do come dislodged and if you blink, then they come out of your eyes, and lie on your lower lid. My eyes don't really get sore, but they do get dry and burn sometimes. It's not a good idea to sleep with them in, but I would definitely say get them.

Acuview. I had the disposable ones you left in for a week and they were great(green), but I decided my glasses were less expensive and I wasn't trying to impress anyone.
