I don't want to hurt her feelings...but at the the same time she needs to know. Should I just leave things the way they are? I mean I'm sure she isn't going to poison me.

lol, i answered your question. Being that it is your sister, you should be close enough to tell her, the most she could do was beat you up. good luck.

Don't leave things the way they are.
Do you know how to cook? Maybe you could gently hint that you would like to share in the cooking, and then have her watch while you prepare. Take turns. Let her know what she is doing wrong.
Or, give her some Easy and Quick recipes to start off with and let her try a stab at it.
Honesty is the best policy - but just be delicate with the delivery.
:)
Good luck - friends are a dime a dozen, but sisters are forever!

If you haven't seen her in ages, then why bother with it? Let the person she is cooking for be the judge of that. You need to start cooking for yourself and your worries will be over!

If you haven't seen her in ages how do you know she's still a lousy cook?

My first answer still stands especially now that I know she's your sister. I'd tell my sister straight up if she wasn't any good at cooking.

Why bother to hurt her feelings now? When she wants to cook you a meal offer to take her out or you bring the groceries and cook the meal yourself

Why not do the cooking instead or you bring her cooked food.
Just be honest and say, "l love you sis but your cooking kills me". Give her a kiss afterwards.

*Be ready for the slap. lol

Why not help her out when she's cooking? That way, you can 'kindly' show her how you like to cook.
