If it has ID, I will find the owner, if not, finders keepers, and a round of tequila shooters for all.

This ALL depends. If I find a wallet or purse in a store or public place I take it to the front desk and ask if anyone has been looking for it. Then I leave it up to them. If I ever find a wallet on the ground outside I look in it to find I.D. If so then I will return it to the person. If there is ONLY money, No I.D, THEN I would keep it. And what I do with it depends on the amount, but I would probably buy my dog a new toy.

One summer I was down at the beach riding my bike. I stopped in to the public restrooms. I saw a wallet on a bench in the restroom. I picked it up and looked inside it to see who it belonged to. It turned out that there was six hundred dollars cash, a blank check made out for the sum of twelve hundred dollars. There was I.D. and a couple of credit cards also. For a little while I was thinking about how much fun I could have with this free money. Then I thought about how living with the thought of some guy out there missing this money. I thought he might need it for something important. I wound up taking the wallet to the police station and turning it in cash and all. A few days later the owner called me and thanked me. He wanted me to name my reward and he would get it for me. Of course after that phone conversation I never heard from him again. Guess my reward was the satisfaction of knowing I did the right thing.

Look for indentification first....if no identification I still wouldn't /couldn't keep it. I would still turn it into the police. Blame the honesty on my Mother.

No, I'll turn it in, I would hope that if I dropped mine that the person who found it would be honest. Of course, mine has no money in it, but that's not the question, is it?

I would teach him a lesson about being careless with money. I would spend it and use his credit cards and take the condom out . When I'm done with him , he will be more careful next time .
