1. let's first convert to feet 18" = 1.5 ft
so 1.5. times 1.5 = 2.25 sq ft

2. same here 12 " = 1 ft
1 x 1 = 1 sq ft
soooooooo 12 divided by 1 =

3. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
have to figure pi x r squared for area
so 100 divided by the above

4 back to 8" = .667 ft 16 = 1.333

100 divided by (.667 times 1.333)

best of luck !

All four ?s involve the conversion of sq inches to sq feet.
1 sq ft = 144 sq in

1. 18*18 = 324in². Divide by 144→2.25 sq ft
2.

Remember to change inches to feet.

1. 18/12 x 18/12 = 2.25 square feet

2. a 12 inch square covers 1 square foot so to cover 12 square feet we would need 12 square covers

3. To find the area of a circle ( round block) we use

A==pi r^2 r= 18/2 = 9 inches = 0.75 square feet

A = pi (0.75)^2 = 1.767 square feet

to find how many round blocks we need to cover 100 square feet we divide 100/ 1.767 = 56.59 blocks

4. 8/12 x 16/12 =0.667 x 1.333 =0.889 square feet per block

Now dive 100 square feet by 0.889 = 112.49 blocks

1) 18"=1.5' so just square 1.5 and you get 2.25
2)I'm not sure if you meant a square that is 12" by 12" but if you did that would just be a square foot so you just need 12 of them to make 12 square feet
3)OK I'm not sure what is 18" if you mean the area, perimeter or, r or d so i cant really answerer
4)convert to feet by dividing each length by 12 then determine how many square feet that is 100 square feet by dividing 100 by that number and you get 112.5 blocks

#1 we need same units, so change inches to feet
18 " = 1.5 '
so 1.5' X 1.5' = 2.25 sqft

#2 change inches to feet 12" = 1'
so we need 12 ' X 1' to get 12 sqft

#3 Is the 18" the diameter or radius?
Area of circle = pi * r^2
