Show who gave thumbs up or down on answers just like they show who starred? I think that way there wouldn't be so many thumbs down trolls..and if people did give thumbs down...it would only be when it was necessary or if they had a different opinion...not just cause they feel like it!

Yes then whoever you give a thumbs down will know who you are and report you in spite. That would happen that way.

It is a good idea but it would cause more problems and we have enough on here. If someone gave a answer that someone else didn't like and gave a thumbs down, then the person who answered the question would automatically get offended and one thing would lead to another and the next thing would be "pay back". As sad and as elementary as it sounds, it's the truth and we all know it. I agree that some users are giving thumbs down just to be ignorant, but I also agree that some thumbs down is needed when someone answers with an answer that everyone may not agree with. If we were dealing with mature adults who could handle criticism, then it wouldn't be a problem. But that is not the case.

That would be a good idea if we didn't have so many people who gave thumbs down to every answer that they saw. We would have more people getting mad at a certain someone because they keep giving you thumbs down. If this site didn't have so many thumbs down jerks then, yes, it would be a good idea.

YES! I am SO glad you brought that up.
I've noticed a lot of people will give a thumbs down just because they don't agree. Hey! It's a free country and we are all entitled to our own opinions.
I've seen people get thumbs down just because they didn't share the same favorite ice cream flavor! Now that's rediculous.
Yeah, I'm with YOU. They should start allowing us to see these people. Maybe they would think twice before hurting people's feelings right and left.
To show who gave a thumbs up? Maybe. That would be nice too. I like it.

Just give the thumbs down back on the questions but leave the thumbs down on the answers alone. If we knew who gave us the thumbs down it would just create more hate than we have on here now..That is just my opinion...

It doesn't matter. I think what you have here is a select group of people that are patting themselves on the back. I mean think about it, it really doesn't matter. I have seen some pretty good answers get passed up for a person that is unable to spell. I just put my two cents in and leave. It beats the hell out of the TV on a Sunday night.

I don't think most would care. But I never get thumbs down for the controversial stuff. It's always the dumb stuff like what is your favorite Simpson's character and why.

Nah, I like it anonymously, I think they should give us the tumbs up and thumbs down back on the questions again though, I hate the stars.
