Cause you are a straight, young and you are a man! It seems easier to draw a woman cause of curves verses the chiselness of a mans body, curves seem more flowy with the hand and pencil.

I draw portraits and I find myself drawing females also. It's not that I wouldn't draw a man but when I'm looking for a subject the women just stand out more. The same is true for black and white photos. I think they're more intense and it's easier to capture that intensity when you feel it.

Well, I don't think matters since you wouldn't be able to tell the difference- even my stick men look terrible!
But, IF I could draw, I think I would go with the complex frame of a woman also.

Yes. I'm not exactly an artist but I love to draw. I would much rather draw women. As you say they are much more complex.

I am a straight girl, and I like to draw pictures of curving, sumptuously-figured women, too!

You already answered your own question. Me, I would prefer men over women. It won't arouse me but it kind of get you in touch with the classic. I guess it is hard to explain.

I'm just like you. I think the reason I choose to draw women is because their shapes are softer and that's what most people think of when they think of beauty.

i also prefer to draw women,.... it's just something about the organic curves of a womans body that appears pleasing to my eye... moreso than the angularity of men. a sinuousness that makes the eye tend to follow.....lol.... AND being a man i DO like like to follow it......
