Since you don't have a fever, the hot and cold flashes could be from a cold or flu starting! To make yourself feel better, use a vaporizing cold medicine (Try Vick's Varpor Rub),it makes you breath better. Also, take cold medicine to help you feel better. See how your feeling in the morning, then decide about school

Sounds like the common cold or a head cold at best. Any infection will increase your temp and you said its normal, so we can pretty much rule that out. That is unless thru the nite a temp occurs. But minor sore throat pain can be a sign of a fever in the works. Anyway, Im assuming youre a teen since you mentioned school, so dont medicate yourself...thats what Moms for. If your a college student, just keep chk your temp and treat that with tylenol and lots of fluids and rest. You can p/u a OTC decongestant for the stuffiness. If your sore throat persists for longer than a day or 2, you really need to see your MD. PS Chills snd body aches are usually symptoms of the flu, but thatll have to be determined by your MD as well. Feel better. And if you can afford to take a day off school, go for it and get plenty of rest.

Put some Vick's on.. Take a nice lukewarm bath, go to bed wrapped up in towels and if there's a fever take Advil or Tylenol.. If you have a 24 hr bug or something like it, you should be better in a few days. If you have the flu, it could take weeks to get over. I would wait a few days and stay home to rest, if things get worse, or last for more than four days, go see a doctor..

Sounds like you started out with a cold and now you may have an infection as indicated by your fever. It could possibly be a sinus infection. The sore throat is usually caused by a nasal drip while you are sleeping of laying down. If you see a doctor he/she is likely to start you on an antibiotic but only if is bacterial. If it is a virus, antibiotics do not help.

Either a cold or flu. Or hay fever. Only time will tell. Get plenty of fluids and rest. Go to school if you feel well enough. If not, don't. But if you stay home, stay in bed.

Actually your colder than usual...lol.. Dont stress. Everyone gets sick. Take tylenol if your fever goes past 98.6....rest and getting plenty of fluids, and if need be, stay home from school/work. If it goes past 100 degrees, and you are still worried, go to the doctor

Oh no... I just got over that.. I was really sick for over a week!!!
The usual stuff... keep warm, avoid getting a chill. Drink lots of fluid, but avoid sugar.. I found every time I drank or ate something sweet my symptoms got worse.
Good luck... hope it's not what I had.

First thing tomorrow, Go to a doctor...Tell him exactly how you feel. Do NOT TRY to deal with it yourself... let the professionals take care of everything for you.
