I think Al Gore lost all credibility when he got on live television and claimed that he invented the internet.

Transcript: Vice President Gore on CNN's 'Late Edition'

BLITZER: I want to get to some of the substance of domestic and international issues in a minute, but let's just wrap up a little bit of the politics right now.

Why should Democrats, looking at the Democratic nomination process, support you instead of Bill Bradley, a friend of yours, a former colleague in the Senate? What do you have to bring to this that he doesn't necessarily bring to this process?

GORE: Well, I will be offering -- I'll be offering my vision when my campaign begins. And it will be comprehensive and sweeping. And I hope that it will be compelling enough to draw people toward it. I feel that it will be.

But it will emerge from my dialogue with the American people. I've traveled to every part of this country during the last six years. During my service in the United States Congress, I TOOK THE INITIATIVE IN CREATING THE INTERNET. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.

to be honest, I really have to agree. Look at Southern California:

we had a cool summer, a warm dry winter, and have had a cool spring.

To be honest, I'd be more willing to agree with Gore if we were having the temperature that was going on when I was little right now. When I was younger, we had hot summers, and cold rainy winters. When I was little I could really distinguish the seasons, but now I don't see much difference. in fact, there have been cold days during summer, hot days during winter, and rainfall, although there being almost none, our rainy days happened equally throughout summer, fall, winter, and spring, last and this year.

I don't know about everywhere else, however I do know that Southern California isn't feeling Global Warming.

It is global warming. A few weeks ago it was in the 70s and 80s all over USA. I was telling people that summer may have begun in late March! About 90 records were broken!

I think that Al Gore understands that daily weather in specific regions is a separate issue from the average temperature of the Earth. Save your I-told-you-so until you read up on the issue a bit.

Al Gore has been spouting his stuff for about 15 years, not just this year. Where have you been?

And temperatures have definitely been rising in the past 20 years.

Finally, it's only April, and you're willing to conclude this is not a hot year?

No, you see all types of weather is cause by global warming
When it's hot out its because of global warming
When it's cold and snowing out its because of global warming
When it's windy it's because of global warming
When it's nice out, it's global warming

This way no matter what the weather is like, Al Gore is right!

This worldwide warming has in all probability been accelerated some with the aid of guy, yet i've got faith that's the conventional earth ameliorations ideal as much as the subsequent ice age. i'm specific it won't ensue for the duration of our lifetime, yet i've got faith that's coming. I stay in England. we would be an ice cube too.

oh i dunno. the warmer weather, if occurs, would not make a liar out of him & he could say 'i told you so' but somehow i can't believe that of him. he is a cheeky fellow & i have a feeling he likes to be right 94% of the time. however, this is one of the remaining 6% where i do believe he wouldn't mind being wrong! don't get to believing that i'm a fan of his, 'cause i'm not but even hedonistic people like gore know they can't be right ALL the time.
