Even including your question, I do not think the questions are about to stop. I have not read any of the Harry Potter books, but I can recommend a book that makes the Harry Potter books look like Dr. Seuss - try reading 'The Zelator: The Secret Journals of Mark Hedsel' - if you are interested in the story of an Initiate.

it really shouldn't bug you that much, you know.
it's their business, and they're not rubbing it in your face or anything. if people want to think about what's going to happen in the next book, let them think. just like you have thoughts that should be voiced, they have thoughts that they feel should be voiced as well.
just ignore it.
