I heard Mitsubishi Eclipses had electrical problems. Should I forget bout gettin subwoofers. the previous owner had subs, but i don't want to risk it

wire from the amp to battery is still there. its on the passenger side somewhere. don't know where it goes from under the hood. can feel it under carpet. I'll look for it later. Don't know the guy though. Just bought it from him

Man I've put systems in Eclipses before with NO prob.'s, if there is any problems its b/c you wired something wrong, other than that they don't have any problems, just run your wires under the carpet and tucked away so it doesn't look ghetto as hell like some people do it...and that will help you not get any cuts or crimps that will lead to electrical problems and shorts. So if you want to do a system, go for it, do it right and take your time and u won't have any problems.

Did the previous owner have problems? You might just ask him how he had it wired and how big an amp he had pushing the subs.
