how to set up an internet tv station?

What is the cheapest way to create a 24/7 internet TV channel? (Not a VOD channel like youtube)

I have content but I need to find out how to broadcast it over the internet.

Why not launch a video podcast? Just shoot and edit your show, then upload it to your own web space or a special hosting service. You can use html and RSS technology to get i-tunes and others like them. Your viewers would have the choice of watching it on your site, or subscribing and getting it on their video MP3 player. Or a podcast hosting service would generate the code for you. It all depends on your budget.
