It is said that The Ouija Board is best used at the seance hour of 2:00 am, I'm not sure since we are under the daylight savings time if you should preform at 2:00 or 3:00??

The main inspiration for the Ouija Board, or "Talking Board" was drawn from a planchette available during the 19th Century. People used these devices for automatic writing. A planchette is a flat piece of wood, usually oval in shape, with a pencil or pen inserted in the middle. The wooden piece rested on rollers or casters, and was placed upon a sheet of paper. The user then asked a question, closed their eyes, and placed their writing hand on the planchette. The 'spirits' would then guide the writer's hand and form words and information.
Other examples similar to the Talking Board are the casting of Runes, a scrying glass, throwing bones (dice), reading cards or simple meditation.

I believe in Runes, Tarot Cards, and Ouija Boards.

hahah. i like that "what is the best time to play ouija board" - like it's a game. you don't use tools to reach the dead as games my friend. and i'm not talking about the exorcist or anything like that. respect the dead. and respect the tool you're using.

if you're looking for a spook high, you will only get it during the night hours after 3am. but it's all psychological. you'll think something's happening when it only came true because you thought it did. so your best bet is to do it on realistic terms.

cast a protective circle around you. this can be from salt. you're sitting in the middle as well as other people. first start meditating before you begin to "play" with the ouija board. this will clear your mind of any intrusions you may have. once you are clear to go, play your heart out. but be warned. not all ghosties are good. and if you open the doorway to the spirit world and invite them to where you are out of clear stupidity, they will continue being around you.

You can use a Ouija board anytime, but please do be careful. They can be very dangerous and can attract something you don't want.

If you want, I don't know if this would go against your beliefe system or not, if I offend you I'm sorry. You could do a banishment spell after you use it everytime, just to make sure.

I use to have one and I accidently let something in and I had to get rid of it quick, so I chose to do the banishig spell.

Be careful.

The best time to use the Ouija board is when you are prepared, and strong enough to handle it.

Never is the 'best' time.

If you do want to use it - wait for a wintry night with strong winds. Gather a bunch of girlfriends - they scream higher than boys do.

Then pull heavy, dark curtains over the windows - but leave a couple of windows a fraction open, so the wind can get in.

Download a piece of heavy, slow drum music or an African or Native American chant. Start it playing.

Light some candles and put out the lights.

Then 'go for it' - before whatever you summon goes for you!!

BOO!!!!

A Ouija Board (pronounced weegee) is a device used by people in their attempt to contact the spiritual realm in order to obtain answers or guidance. This is an occultic method of attempting to gain knowledge and is a door to demonic oppression. "Ouija" is a copyrighted term used by Parker Brothers Company since that is the company that produced the "game." To use the board, members place their fingertips on the slider and ask a question. Then miraculously the slider will move and point to various letters and numbers in order to get an answer. This method, again, is occultic. It is forbidden by Scripture for Christians to participate in such things.

The Bible does not use the term "occult." Instead, it uses the terms "sorcery" and "divination."

Lev. 19:26, "You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying."
Deut. 18:10, "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,"
2 Kings 17:17, "Then they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and practiced divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him."
2 Kings 21:6, "And he made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord provoking Him to anger."
2 Chron. 33:6, "And he made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger."
Gal. 5:17-21, "For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Rev. 9:21, "and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts."
Therefore, it should be quite clear that the Christian is not to participate in any type of sorcery or divination. Using the Ouija board is exactly that. So, it is wrong for a Christian to use the Ouija board.
