when Oprah was young and rich she could have had a lot of men want her so whats up is she cold to men becase she is rich or maybe she cant have kids did any one ask her this or am i the only one that sees this . I have heard she loves to help young girls and she had a boy friend thats all they said some one as big a tv person as Oprah how is it she able to keep so much" hush""hush."

Oprah claims she never wanted the married life nor did she want to be single parent. I don't think every woman is mother or wife material. I also don't think people should get married if they don't think they will like it. That will only lead to divorce.
As for the "hush hush." I don't think every celebrity or rich person needs to draw attention to his or herself. I am not Oprah's biggest fan, but I do commend her for not having a lot of negative publicity. She is a great role model for all people, especially girls and especially this week with the Don Imus thing. The fact that she used her show as a forum and the fact that many people watched says alot. Oprah tries to lead by example and she should be commended for that.
Instead of focusing on why she's not married, try thinking about how much better she is without being a societal statistic.

oprah has had the same boyfriend for YEARS - Stedman Graham, and they live together and have for ages!
oprah was pregnant once that i know of -- she had an abortion. i saw her on a talk show interview (i think with Barbara Walters) and she discussed the pregnancy.
i'm assuming that she doesn't want anymore children, considering she has had the choice for years. her life is very full.
oprah has helped literally thousands of children in the world, as well as adults. perhaps helping children and others is what she wants, and does not need to have her own kids to feel complete.
if you look up oprah winfry on line, you will likely find more information about the woman than you'll ever need.

Its not hush-hush at all with her, which you would know if you watched her show. She talks all the time about how she has chosen not to get married. But she has been with the same boyfriend (Steadman Graham) for many years, and they live together, and are as good as married. She doesnt feel like she needs to be married to prove to the world that they are a couple. I'm not sure whether she cant have kids, or chose not to. That is her personal business.

Why does she have to have a husband and kids? She has a partner, why does she need to be married?
Oprah is one of the most successful and influencial women in the world, but she is still a human being and entitled to the same discretion and privacy as the rest of us. She does not spotlight her relationship with Stedman, nor should she have to.
Women do not need men to validate their lives, depspite societies age old belief to the contrary. They are quite capable of success in their own right.

No she did no longer get married to Steadman for what ever reason they'd have with one yet another. As for toddlers no they have no young ones the two and that i think of that has to do plenty with while she substitute into molested as a newborn. Gayle King is in simple terms her suitable buddy and each physique is in titled to have one. in simple terms because of the fact she hangs around together with her buddy does not make her distinctive. She chooses to spend her time and spend her funds on needy toddlers and that would desire to be on the places she visits.

My guess is that she got caught up in her career and overlooked the possibility of marriage and kids. Unfortunately, many of the most successful women I have met have done the same thing. It takes a lot of work to be so successful, and she probably wouldn't have had much time for kids anyway. It's better just to not have them if you're not going to have time for them.

well she is classic success story
and as such she has a drive and vision and now wealth
and as such men and marriage are a impediment to her empire
hence why her foundation / school she set up in Africa is for ONLY young women like she once was
she wants to empower them ( keyword is empower ) just as she has empowered herself
she is a feminist at heart and prefers that all women be independant ( even if married ) and have self reliance
and it's tough to be self reliant if you're young and pregant

Maybe she just doesn't want to be married and have kids. There's no law saying that's how life progresses for everyone.
