I am married but my husband is in Iraq, so that is different... But this is my second husband, I do love him with all my heart. But there were alot of times(with my ex) when I felt alone, and felt like my heart was not there, felt like why was I there.. it took me 3 years to leave him because I didnt know if it was right.. It would come and go, but was always there for the most part.. I sure hope you are not feeling this, it was the worst thing I had ever felt.. I wish you luck

Interesting question. Sometimes I feel lonely. Sometimes I don't. However, given a choice. I'd stick to being married. Peace and God bless.

No Way. I married my best friend, and things have only gotten better and better through the years. You can't expect a husband to make your world complete, YOU have to do that yourself. If you are happy and make your world full, you will bring a better self to your marriage.

I just shared this phrase with another . . . " I'd rather be alone by myself...then be alone in a relationship ".
I'm peacefully divorced. The last years of my marriage...my heart was very much neglected by him. I divorced...now I'm happy again . . . single . . . yet very happy as I found the trueness of the ' voice ' of my soul and heart again.
I'm alone...yet not lonely. I believe in marriage...it's a wonderful environment to share in. I'm sure I'll meet the man who balances with my heart, and me with his, one day...till that time...I live and celebrate myself, my family, friends and my life.
Those who stay in lonely, emotionally empty marriages I feel are holding their own selfs emotional hostage.

Marriage is a raw deal for the man unless he wants kids, otherwise its just not worth the headaches and potential lose of monetary things in the divorce.
