I'm so not in touch with lately. I was just wondering is South Africa out? What's going on? Can someone give me a quick update on who's going in the super 4 round?

Those Bangladeshis were darn luck. First they nailed India and then South Africa. What's going on? Anyways, please give me an update. Thanks !!

The point position in Super 8 as of today is as follows:

Australia - 10 Points from 5 matches.
New Zeland - 10 points from 6 matches
Sri Lanka - 8 points from 8 matches
South Africa - 6 points from 6 matches
England - 4 points from 5 games.
West Indies - 2 Points from 5 games.

Australia, New Zeland and Sri Lanka are already through to Semi Final. South Africa have one game to be played against England and if they win that, they will enter semi finals.
However, if England wins, they will have 6 points, i.e. same as South Africa. If England wins against West Indies also, England will enter Super 8. If England loose against West Indies, England and South Africa will be tied on 6 points each and based on the Net Run Rate, the 4th team for the
semi final will be decided.

No South Africa is not out, but if they lose against England tomorrow then they will definately be coming home. If they beat England then they stay in the top 4.

They really need to pull up their socks ranking no. 1 in the world.

hey, Australia and newzeland have already qualified for semifinals by scoring 10 points, srilanka are at 8 points if they beat Ireland they will enter the semifinals with 10points. so, now the competition is between England and south Africa whereas west indies, Bangladesh, Ireland are eliminated. so England and south Africa have to win all the upcoming matches in order to qualify for the semifinals. so the south Africa - England match will decide who is entering semi -finals. so don't worry south Africa is still in the world cup.
