Microwaves should cost about $45-80, theses microwaves are the good ones. The bad ones are usually $20-30, these microwaves are the slow heating ones. Trust me I know because I work in Best Buy.

Can purchase a microwave for 119.00 at Walmart. It looks like it is stainless steel. Works great. We have 2 at our work place. Work production and is used by about 20 people a shift 7 days a week evey day. Have had one for about 2 years. Still looks brand new, and works great. that's alot of use.

Microwave ovens are just about disposable now, they are so inexpensive. I just bought my daughter one for her dorm room and it was $48.00 at Walmart. It does everything the big ones do, looks nice, it is white and has a round window in the door. She said it worked great. If it works for a couple years, it is worth the money, right there. Some girls say they have had theirs 4 years and they still work great. The first month she had it, she was charging the other girls to heat their stuff up, and to make their coffee and she sent me back my 48. $$. Smart girl, my daughter!

You can get one for $30-40 secondhand. Look at yard sales or on Craigslist. Lots of people sell them because they move into homes with built in microwaves.

You can get a decent one at Wal-mart or Target for about $50, maybe a little less.

Just bought the best one Walmart had, today. Panasonic 2.2 cu ft. All the bells and whistles. 1200 watt. $159.00.

You can get a decent one for about $150.00 on up...the ones below that will probably "blow out"...from use..as they won't tolerate the use that you would normally need....i.e. warming etc.
