Doing the things that you wouldnt normally do that maybe frighten you or push you to limits that would require you to step up to the plate and take a swing. EX. To have courage to give a speech in front of you peers if you have stage fright.

Stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility for oneself and owning up to ones short-comings/mistakes that one makes. That takes real courage to admit when you are wrong and move on and learning from your mistakes.

Being able to meet your partner's family for the first time, without the support of your family, and without a hitch; especially if one of their parents seems to instill the 'fear of God' in every member of their family and they are worried about you meeting them.
