He is Morzan's son and Murtagh is his elder brother.Murtagh is held by galbatorix again and galbo knows murtagh's name in they ancient language and sends him to battle against eragon at the end of the second book. He takes zar'roc as it is his rightly inheritance.he is much more powerful than eragon and is himsself a rider as one of the 2 eggs with galbo hatched for murtagh. Its the one on the cover.

Well I agree w/ the other that it is a great book. But I will go further=] Eragon was a little slow, not just in the few chapters, but the first 250 pages. So after reading ti half way, I stopped. Then I saw the movie. The movie was def. not that good, or loyal to the book, as far as I remmebered but the plot was so interesting, that I though id start eragon again. I DIDN'T begin from the begining because There wasn't much I needed to remember the first 250 pages are basically, the butcher, the egg, taking care of sahphira, and meeting brom and off they go. I just finished eragon 2 nights ago, and loved it. The next half of the book is wonderful. The first half isn';t to bad, but def. a slow pace. I am now starting eldest, and that my friend, wil capture you with the first page. It is great so far and far more action packed. But of course in trilogys the first half of the book is always a slight bore, like lotr and inkheart trilogy. So I really suggest you read it. The books are my #3 in my top 3 favorite books. And I have read over a book every 2 days, so about 3 books a week. So basically I hve read alot. Eragon & eldest and the next book are sure to please you.

It's all in Eldest, which I enjoyed more than Eragon. The story really picks up.

You'll have to read Eldest to find out then, if you didn't see it in Eragon. Sorry, no spoiler here.

That part of Angela's reading will be revealed in Eldest. You won't have any doubt when it happens.
I'm re-listening to Eldest on CD while driving. It's good.

hmmmm....does anyone else think that 'Eragon' is suspiciously like Anne McCaffery's 'Dragon Riders of Pern' series?
