Are they really that insecure about their own appearance? Or are they just looking for attention? Personally, I think it's pretty lame..like I'm really going to look at their obviously stolen supermodel pic and say "wow, she's hot!" DUH!

I dont get it either... I had a picture of a naked woman on my wall and all the girls were like "take it down, women arent ment to look like that" but all the chicks on here look exactly like her!!

You are bringing up a sore subject with me. Sometimes women don't want to put themselves up there b/c of privacy. I have seen people's pictures posted all over the internet when somebody got mad or jealous of the person. Also, what is an Avatar? It's not a picture of you. What is the difference in having one of those or of a model that resembles you? Same difference in my opinion. Some people around here have television, movie stars and cartoons up. I just think that if they do put the person that isn't them up, and someone asks them if it is really them, then they shouldn't tell people that it is them. They should be honest and say "no that is not me".

Probably for the same reason some guys use a picture of a superhero or a sportscar. Its a picture of something they like. The model could be involved in a product they like, make-up perfume, etc. Or the model inspires them.

I know and alot of people fall for it too...I hate it. Its like they want attention that bad. There probably really insecure about themselves, I have my pic on here, but on my 360 only, cause it would ruin my theme!! haha

It could be any reason. A lot of women are too insecure these days, they just need to stop. Even the skinniest most stick-looking girls out there think they're fat...like me. And we know it too, but we can't stop obsessing. Too bad for us.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference that we should respect anyway. Most of us will not prefer to post our real picture to preserve the identity of privacy. But those model pictures are sometimes can easily get attention, but my not be the same as the one who used it. But since it is not prohibited, let's just respect them.

My avator is cute goes with my theme...the other pictures on my 360 are the real me....I post all differant pictures to match my 360 page at the time. Its called being artistic.

I don't know, maybe they like the way the models look?
I like my avitar....that is why I use that as a main pic on here.
