I want to do something nice for my mother too. got any good ideas preferably to do with my baby for Mothers Day. Like a t-shirt made..(can't do that right now.) But any other ideas. Also I do not have much money either so more from the heart ideas please. Thanks in advance.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Let her stay close to her grandbaby. And tell her thank you often. Odds are she understands really well that you can't afford much. And Thank you's go a long way, and if you are able to let her be close to her new grandbaby, she'll know you appreciate her and there is no greater gift than a grandma who can be close to her grandbaby. My mom was really there for me in the hospital and she helps me talke care of my baby while I finish my college degree, and I don't have the money to buy her things very often but I am the only one of her kids who says thank you for the things she does and she's pointed that out to me a lot. Also if she has a favorite collectible, like dolls or butterflies, you can usually find some nice cheap things in various stores around the year.

A twist on the picture idea is to do a digital scrapbook page. They are so easy, fun and cute! all you need is a photo editor of some sort. and you can make your own page or slip your picture into a premade page then print it out or email it actually it might be easier to upload to something like yahoo photos and then email a link as the files can be quite large.
You can find tons of digital stuff for free! or you can spend just a few dollars.

Hello and congratulations. You can order on ebay for a few dollars a personalized grandmother poem framed. Your baby's feet in a mold would be so cute too. Lastly, they have picture frames that you can record your voice with a polite Thank you mom. Good luck.

Congrats!! Take a Picture of you and your Daughter or son and have it blown up at wal-mart,It is Like 4 bucks and Buy a Frame,which is a couple of bucks,the cost should not be more than 10 dollars.I just did this for My Husband and he loved it.I am sure she will Cherish it.

why dont you take a photo of both of you.and diplay it in a really nice card and write to her telling her how much her and her support mean to you.

how about just writing a really nice note to your mom as to how great she is and how much you apppreciate her. you could put your babies foot prints on it.
