Firefall. In their relatively short life as a band, and beyond the corporate top 40 hits they had, Firefall had some very good songs that didn't make it to the radio because they didn't fit the mold. Much of the song writing was thoughtful and intelligent and the songs not released as singles were more bluesy and raw than the polished bubblegum love songs they are known for.
