Need a little more info. Please describe the spot. How big, does it stick out or look more like a sore? What kind of fish is it on, what other fish is that one with. The more details the better. Once we get some info we can help you out.

There's not enough info here to say what it might be. Ich is small white spots like grains of salt. Larger spots can be natural coloration, fungus or bacterial infection, or a different parasite.

A photo of your fish would be best (link photo to this question using web-based photo-sharing software). Or please describe in more detail - are the areas raised above the scales, smooth or fuzzy texture, size of white area, smooth or irregular edge to the spot? Species of fish? Saltwater or freshwater?

Sounds like "Ick" it is a common disease fish get. It is very easy to treat you can buy the medicine at about any store.

it meens that your fish it loosing its scales,THIS IS NOT GOOD!!! is there another fish in the tank that is fighting or its old
