I love the sound and also the smell of thunderstorms. I especially like it at night when I'm snuggling in under the covers with some hot cocoa and a good book.

Are you kidding? Millions of people love the sound of rain and thunder! I went to buy a CD of rain and thunder sounds and was amazed at how many there were to choose from. Now I ask you, how different can they all be?

Oh my gosh I absolutely love when it's raining outside. Call me crazy but most of the time I would actually rather that it was pouring rain than beautiful sunshine, especially when it's warm.
The thunder and wind just put me to sleep and if theres lightning outside then i'm out like a light!!! I LOVE RAIN!!!

I love the sound of rain. I put a tin roof on the house porch by my bedroom so i could hear it better. And I love a good thunderstorm. I even love the flooding that comes afterwards and my husband is appalled by that. I'm constantly going to the creek to watch the water rise after a storm. I find it exciting. Am I weird? lol. And the smell after a good rain, isnt it nice? My porch overlooks the mountains and i go out to watch the lightening on it a lot. I love a good flash. Nature at its finest.

No, I do too. I sleep better and am more relaxed. I especially like to curl up with a good book with a cup of hot tea no matter what season it is. Rainy Sundays are my fav as I know I don't have to go to work but any rainy evening I feel blessed. If the power goes out...so what!
It seem like a lot of folks taht like rain and thunder are very passionate and intutive.

They start out OK. They stop being OK when lightning hits the power lines and you are sitting there in the dark without any heat or light. Then they lose just about all of their appeal.
We are having a Noreaster tonight and tomorrow with 5 inches of rain and 50 mph winds predicted. I think that is going to turn into not so OK pretty fast.

No. Infact there is nothing I love more than a good thunder and lightening storm. I sit out on my back porch and watch the show and listen to the rain falling on the tinroof of the awning.

My favorite sounds. I'm an intense person and thrive
on maximum energy in nature. I can't think of anything
more boring that a warm, sunny, calm day. Rain and
thunder reminds me of the awesome power of nature
and sort of jump starts my energy level, Also reminds
me of some of the greatest novels I've ever read, usually
written in some freezing garret in Paris, or on the foggy,
rainy moors of Scotland, or even Harry Potter. Love it.
It's also weather to stay inside, read, write, sit by the
fire and be cozy with yourself.

No, I find the sound of rain and thunder to be very calming. As long as I am somewhere warm, then I say let it pour.

see the rain falls from my couch and feel the air which smell wet soil...so refresing
