.75 sec., then you as you begin to slow down. your speed will immediately start decreasing. If you are driving on greased ball bearings or ice, it will take longer then on dry paverment. Also, how good is the rubber on you tires? There are other variables not mentioned like are you locking up the brakes or do you have an anti lock brake system\? Is it a panic situation or just a light touch on the peddle?

to slow down then at least 0.75 seconds. If you mean to slow down completely then it depends on your medium. If you are in a bicycle is different than a car and is also different than if you where flying through the air. Assuming is a vehicle the I would say like 3 seconds on dry pavement maybe more.

Depends on how good your brakes are,and road conditions. about 4 to 5 seconds average.
